Jillian Griffiths (nee Harris), BSc, Grad Dip Journ.
Jill graduated from Murdoch University in 1988 with a degree in biological sciences and in 1994 with a graduate diploma in journalism. These two tertiary qualifications combined Jill’s passions for the natural environment and communication and have enabled her to build a career as a science communicator.

These include a range of reports, such as the annual reports of the (then) Department of Environment and the Water and Rivers Commission (several times), conference proceedings, and many brochures, magazine articles and smaller publications. She regularly contributes to the nationally-distributed magazine Farming Ahead, where she writes about research on pastures, cropping, soils and animal science.
Jill wrote the environmental interpretation for the iconic Tree Top Walk and Ancient Empire in tingle forest at Walpole and the popular Karri Forest Explorer trail in Pemberton.
